MAGIC WAVES is a brand of sustainable children's swimsuits made from 100% recycled yarn from the reuse of PET bottles , with this we help our planet since 12 plastic bottles make one swimsuit .
It is estimated that today 1 million plastic bottles are produced every minute and only 9% of these are recycled. There are currently 165 million tons in the oceans.

Recycled polyester is obtained from collected PET bottles and means a reduction of 75% less CO2 emissions since for every ton 1,500 liters of gasoline are saved.

The process carried out to obtain this fabric based on recycled materials is as follows:
Collection, Classification, Crushing, Washing and Smelting.

The recycled fabric we use for our MAGIC WAVES has OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, which is a worldwide guarantee that the fabric is completely safe when it comes into contact with the skin.

All MAGIC WAVES swimsuits have a UPF 50+ rating, blocking 98% of UV radiation. Ultraviolet protection factor, or UPF, ratings are for fabrics that have a sun protection factor (SPF). These indicate what fraction of the sun's ultraviolet rays can penetrate a fabric. The higher the UPF, the greater the protection against UV rays.
